scanned through quickly and didn't see requiem for a dream listed. Recently saw that again and it was worse than the first time. Found myself gritting and squinting with anticipation of what was to come :/

I don't know why I own the Bluray because after seeing it you never want to watch it again. Great soundtrack too. I love Aronofsky and every movie he made (except Noah), my favorite director working right now.

i like aronofsky too but wth happened with noah, such potential subject too

My guess is that he isn't the typ for big hollywood blockbusters. Had some nice visuals/special effects but that's it.
At the end of the day it's a bible story so you can't please everyone.

considering his skills, high points and that's he's a buff on the subject was really mediocre at best
bible is pretty damn potential subject, i wonder did the producers got in a way or smtn

Probably, his movies aren't made for a broad audience, seems like the Producers had the last word at this subject.

Sure but if you are to accurate you bore the normal movie goers and if not religious people will hate you ^^

Nevertheless I'm very excited for his new project.
