yeah, Ghost of Mars was really painful it was so bad, I think He did The Fog too and even that is sorta so bad its good - its ok though cause he did a lot of films I liked.

Running Man sounds good and fits perfectly in my Schwarzenegger sunday ^^

yeah there's some creepy about not being able to see through fog, not knowing what's out there, not being in control - it's a great tool for suspense.

Heard that they are realy bad but haven't seen them for myself. Overall I think his filmography is pretty decent, considered that he mostly had a pretty low budget for his films and wasn't loved in Hollywood.

yea, several pretty nice films, in the mouth of madness is overlooked. wish he would have been more ambitious or something after that though cigarette burns is worth watching iirc

I like Sam Neill too, I find he's a really good actor - it's more in the suspense catagory but I like Dead Calm, it was probably Nicole Kidman's best role too.

he's good in Possession (80s) which is a must see film

I liked it because there wasn't much need for dialogue which you would think would be easy being that movies are a visual media but is actually surprisingly tough to pull off.
Kinda like Alien, Halloween, Terminator, Thief, The Exorcist - the story/suspense creates itself and adding unnecessary dialogue is like adding too much salt to the soup, it needs to be just right.
