So, you took me saying that it doesn't make sense as I'm not able to understand it? It doesn't make sense because it's idiotic, predictable and just bullshit. We're suppose to believe that career criminals are the most inept people in the world, while also believing that Gordon wouldn't have been killed within his first week? Even in the real world, where corruption doesn't run even close to as deep, cops have been murdered for refusing to go on the take, look at 1930s Chicago. The premise is idiotic, the characters are bad, and you must be a special kind of stupid to think the plot would be too complicated for anyone.
Yes, it's a TV show, there's only going to be things that don't make sense, that's fine. But when the entire show's premise is completely absurd, coupled with bad acting, bad characters and an overall dull story... well shit, you've got a terrible show on your hands.
