Anderson and Duchovny are interested, but Duchovny says he's not interested in doing another 22 episode season. He's kind of flaky, so I hope he doesn't screw it up.
The creator wants to do more. He was actually in the middle of writing another movie before the idea of the show coming back happened.

They were aiming for 7 episodes but they ran out of time so the 7th wasn't filmed.

Hopeful David is just saying that to get more money in the negotiation game, but I think he's one of the best actors really so they should probably just pay him. They could just cut the pay of every other hack - err I mean "actor" on Fox and I wouldn't complain.

Too bad Duchovny is totally against a full length season.

Seasons 7-9 weren't as good as 1-6 but I still enjoyed the hell out of them.

I feel like even a mediocre full season would be a ton of fun. At least for me.

Well that was completely different, talk about travelling down a path into bizarro world - I think that story was like a hypothetical fable kinda making fun of "traditional" fables - whatever those are, lol. Certainly was totally opposite to every other episode probably.

Absolutely fucked loved this third episode.
