Scorsese's best films - Raging Bull, After Hours, Taxi Driver, Gangs of New York, Goodfellas, all better than Mean Girls - just not a huge fan of Wolf of WS.

I might have watched it on tv or something, not sure can't remember. However i'm not likely to watch a 2.5 hour film by a director I usually can't stand. My backlog is stacked with 2.5 - 3hour films already because they are so inconvenient to squeeze into my everyday schedual :/

Make time.

Long movies tend to be better than shorter movies.

I do make time when I can, for long films I think is gonna be good. But like I said, Scorsese is such an average director in my opinion that i'd rather watch something else when I have that much time to spare. For example i've seen 16 Polanskifilms but not The Pianist so that's high on my prioritylist.

For the record I think 90 min is optimal but it depends on what kind of film you are watching. Obviously mafia type films usually require many characters and lots of character development to be good so they shouldn't be short but arthouse films can.

Mean girls out of these 2

Wolf of Wallstreet is a better movie in terms of critique but mean girls is way more entertaining/fun

I don't understand how the situation would come up where you'd have just these two movies to pick from..

I'm as baffled as you.

Choice is obviously btw.

One is bad and one is good....
