I am usually not the one who watches movies for special effects and cool graphics but fuck me i want to see this shit ! I never played WoW and never was warcraft fan but i fucking love their cinematics and this looks like just a long ass cinematic, i cant fucking wait. icouldnt even care about story line they probably gonna fuck it up anyway i dont even care i want to see it

I agree, but they could put a different spin on it.

One big difference between Warcraft and LOTR that even non-fans will notice is that Warcraft focuses half the time on developing the orcish heroes and villains. If WC does well, they could conceivably branch into SC by going a similar route i.e. a heavy focus on Zerg/Protoss heroes. That would differentiate it from Starship Troopers well enough.

Even more than WC/SC though, I kinda feel like Diablo lends itself better to a movie format. It has that linear narrative that could fit well into a 100 minute movie (hero goes into infested cathedral to find the evil, while struggling to maintain his own sanity)
