How in the fuck was Interstellar bad? Gravity was just another movie that shows how rigged the Oscars are. Just a terrible fucking movie.

gravity sucked , interstellar was better than martian but neither were great

All dialouge is bad, the fifth dimension stuff is bad there's also no good characters anywhere except for Matt Damons stranded austronaut and he's only in it very briefly.

I like the film for other reasons but Nolan really did drop the ball on this one.

Imdb top 250 feature children films and superhero films aka it's complete trash.

You think those kinds of films can't be good? wtf?

Also nothing in the top 50 is a kids movie so I don't know what you're talking about

They can be entertaining at best but they don't belong on any "best films" list.
IMDB is compiled by the average joe, many of the films that go on there aren't good they just happen to be pandering to a large demographic.
If you check out lists made by people who actually have a clue like people in the industry or top critics you won't find Pixar, you won't find superheroes, you won't find Interstellar, you will definitly not find Sawshank redemption on there.

Being popular is not evident of being of high quality, you will find the opposite is often the case. See mcdonals for an obvious example. It's shit, it kills you and it's the most popular food on the planet.
