That's why I said "main-stream". Elsa and Anna were both just horrible people, and that's a huge problem for me. That takes away from the story, and it diminshes what all of the involved characters are doing, because for me, it's really hard to relate or care about shitty people. That added with the lack of a real antagonist, weak supporting cast ( I know you said you liked Olaf, but I really just don't get why anyone would think he or Kristoff were anything better than tolerable), and what I thought was a below average soundtrack, just made for a very lacking movie experience for me.

So that and then yes, the insane amount of hype, did most likely ruin it even more for me. Everything was blowing up for months before I finally sat down and watched the movie by myself and it just didn't hit anything for me. It got I think 2 half-chuckles out of me, a couple times where I turned down the volume because of a terrible song and the rest was me sitting and staring blankly and hoping it would end soon.

I've honestly been slacking pretty hard on watching movies lately. I went to the theater to see Black Mass, which I enjoyed, but I hadn't seen anything else there since MI. I usually just download/burn movies, but I've been out of DVDs and haven't bothered picking up more yet. I have a big monitor, but I feel like watching movies on my actual TV (46in in the room), is just so much better and makes good movies better than if I had watched it on my 25in Monitor.

I just don't understand. The music is God awful in frozen, that's not up for debate and its why 7 yr old girls with the absolute worst taste in music enjoy it. What character is likeable? Both girls act like selfish idiots the entire movie, the guy is an idiot and the snowman is just fucking annoying.

I'm not one of those people who dislikes something because it's popular and I love animated movies that are well done. Frozen was just a bad movie and I get why little girls enjoy it, but it's unfathomable to me that any adult could be stupid enough to think it's anything other than below average.

Black Mass was good, not great. Depp however was fantastic in it, which is what I was hoping for. Just only have so much you can with the climax when you're following how it actually happened. I felt like in the interview portions, they tried to make him sound a lot more badass, big time, or whatever than he really was. I thought overall, they did a great job with what they had. I know a lot of it was fabricated, but I still really enjoyed it.

I have external harddrives loaded with movies I can just use on my TV
Which I don't anyway, since I watch them on my PC.
