Wasn't the monologue she had at the end of heroes played in the first episode of reborn? That is probably it then.

I really liked the old Heroes and was excited for this remake, but this doesn't even have the comic feel to it, the filming style is so weird and the plot kinda sucked

Some of it is weird, some of it is unclear, it's action-packed. What i like to see is some character developments, there is enough happening and they seem a bit flat in nature to me so far.

Some of the acting is bad.
The story; major coorporation trying to bring together humans and evolved humans, stages a coo and kill everyone at the gathering. They didn't kill the evolved humans, instead the real owners of the co. took all the evs to steal their powers to be able to track other evs and kill them? While this is going on, Earth is having problems and only evs can save humanity.

Thats what I've gathered. The bolded part makes no sense.

They really should have just started the show fresh, keeping half (the shitter half) of actors was never going to work well.
