Not the writers apparently.

But it's for entertainment, we can let it slide.

we only use 10-20% -ish of the brain simultaneously at any given time and that already makes it an organ that consumes about 1/5 of your dayly energy requirement. I would expect an increase in eating to compensate, maybe even specific stuff to keep the sparks going in the brain.

Pilot was alright. Don't really care for spinoffs although I tuned in mostly just to see Coopers entire role in the show, if he was going to be a main character or not. First 20 or 30 minutes they basically just ripped off a huge plot from the actual movie, which had me at points not even wanting to actually watch the rest of the episode. Not really liking the direction it looks to be headed in either. Has sort of a 'the mentalist' feeling to it with the whole teaming up with the FBI thing, but I'm going into the next episode with a open mind about it.
It definitely got a bit better overtime, I will be looking forward to the next episode.

yup, just as i thought, looking like just another cop drama after this last episode. sigh, and they wonder why network tv is dying.

maybe, just maybe, this is a temporary thing... not intending to try to get your hopes up. Leave it be for now and come back later to see if you were right?

yet another disappointing episode. seriously hoping this doesn't go full cop drama for the rest of the season. ending of the episode finally gave some decent insight about Brian's future, and now he's going to be doing jobs for Maura. hopefully it isn't more fbi shit, because i don't know if i can sit through another hour of more cop drama.

Seems like the door is open to step away from permanent cop drama if the guy makes his own supply of nzt (which eddie also did) and come up with a measure against the detrimental side effects (which eddie also already did). It can turn into something of an antagonistic play of superbrains at that point, where the frivolous Female Body Inspector as underdog fights against the seasoned Eddie Mora.
If you really hate the cop drama thing, just follow this tiny topic and see where it is at at the end of the season
