one could say that this character is more than just introvert. Also your 'don't try to argue with me' is an argument from authority fallacy, where you are not an authority on the subject matter but a mere student and is designed to shut down anyone that disagrees with you.

cheers

Introverts are not fucking socially handicapped like this guy (not allowing other people to even touch him or stays away from simple things like handshakes).
This is clearly autism to some degree and not even remotely close to introvert.

Introverts are not necessarily socially handicapped, they are perfectly fine in dialogues or interacting with other people. The only difference is that they NEED alone-time to regain energy (as human interaction is like a duty which makes them tired) compared to extroverts who gain energy from other people.

Don't try to argue with me, I've read psychology for 2 years in med school, including personality psychology where we covered introverts and extroverts.

You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. So either the last comment was a lie or literally a single class segment converting the issue and you are trying to make it seem like more.

As an extreme introvert that shares many traits with the guy and also has a lot of experience dealing with autistic people I can say you are full of shit.

sorry i'll agree i was very vague with what i wrote, ofcourse the majority of autistic people will be introverts, what i meant was that if you are going to put introversion and autism on the same scale then there is a line where the person will change from an introvert to suffering from autism.
well my point was that he has reached that part of the spectrum to show more of an autistic behavior rather than regular introvertic.

He is an extreme introvert with ocd tendencies. If he was autistic he wouldn't be so calm when people touched him, instead of showing extreme discomfort he would probably scream or something, the reaction would be much more severe. Also notice how not being touched doesn't make it into the bedroom? Because he isn't autistic, but rather the not being touched is more likely linked to ocd/being an introvert.

well if we are going into detail, we can divide autism into two types, highly functioning autistic adults or low functioning.
the latter part would not be able to live alone, whereas the first one can live a manageable life like he is doing on the show.

they usually have really bad short-term memory which is shown a few times in the show, for instance in the scene where he realises again that he is almost out of drugs 'again', stating it has occured several times.

and mdma has been proven in recent studies to improve the social functions and anxiety of autistic people which could be the reason why he had sex with his dealer, stating 'shit i make bad decisions on drugs'.

also this is getting out of hand so lets just drop it, maybe they will reveal later on what exactly his problem is, i mean it's only the first episode so far

also just because he stays calm when people touch him off drugs does not rule out autism

Saying he makes bad decisions on drugs doesn't mean mental disorder, a lot of people make bad decisions on drugs.
