so if a woman talks about men, it's clearly feminism.

but if a man talks about women it's just correct.

Cool - i never thought of this clearly double standard as acceptable, but I'm always learning.

I said that's ALL women ever talk about in comedy (vast majority). Not that it's not ok for them to do it, but it's ok for men.

If a man does it, I'm just as bored. The difference is men talk about other things.


I hate double standards and it's not like I've never given female comedy a chance. It's parodies, sex, gender differences and female superiority. I've seen like 1 or 2 really unknown gals try their hand at something else and it barely made me smile.

As I previously mentioned before, it's NOT LIKE I'VE NEVER GIVEN FEMALE COMEDY A TRY.

It sucks. It's always the same subjects, it's overdone, it's unoriginal and barely passable as funny.

It's my opinion. I'm not just throwing it out there, baseless.

My province freakin hosts Just For Laughs. I've been to many festivals. I've seen plenty on TV. It SUCKS. Am I allowed to think that without being called a sexist? Or has the feminist movement done that much damage already?
