Garfield is clearly the better spiderman, there's no debating that. If you think toby was a good spiderman, I got a bridge for sale. Calling the original train wreck better and the new one garbage is what's actually insane. The first spiderman reboot was a massive improvement over the trilogy. The second, while equal on part to the first 2 films, it was eons better than the 3rd and the direction they want to go with with a darker venom movie, it's definitely far from garbage.

Also, days of future past is regarded as the best of the series outside of the first and second movie, if not on par with them. It cleaned up canon, removed all of the mistakes and took it back to where it needed to go. That's the direction the series is going. With apocalypse on the horizon, that's what he meant by a step up. So the real question is what drugs are you on?

I thought the first 2 spidermans(toby) were better than the 2 amazing spiderman(Garfield) movies
But I agree Garfield is the better spiderman
The original spiderman movies had a more marvel/comic feel to it
The new amazing spiderman movies felt like teenage drama emo movies

That's just me though
I still enjoyed all of them(except 3)

Didn't like xmen 1 or 3
liked 2, first class, and days of future past

I'm assuming I'm the only one bothered by johnny storm being black especially when susan storm is white and they're siblings
An while the 2 fantastic movies already made were bad, the casting was perfect(minus alba)

All 5 spiderman movies were too focused on the love story and not enough on the spiderman character.

I hope marvel gets the rights back for him to re-reboot the franchise into something that fits the comics and cartoons more.

It's going to be awful. Still, it'll be better than the last 2 F4 movies, that's not saying much though.

As far as I remember the only superhero movies that I'd call decent are Watchmen (although I need to rewatch, it's been a while) and The Dark Knight.


Rest are pretty poor to downright terrible.
