You can not compare who would win in a match between Drogo / Mountain, based on the TV series.
Drogo was born in the same area where Oberyn had gained some fighting skill or knowledge.
Drogo's skill and experience was never mentioned, I would also say not even in the books [haven't read them, not 100% sure here].

What they portrayed in the TV series, and the battle between Oberyn and the Mountain was suggesting that,
they both had equal experience / skill and Oberyn bested Mountain WITHOUT any armor at all... Oberyn died
because he was too cocky and stupid as fudge trying to get a confession out of the Mountain to put blame on
his sisters death towards the Lannisters in public while also killing the man who killed his sister.

So there is no real comparison to base the actual outcome, so by assumption of Drogo's hierachy [sp] where he
was born and the hardships of their nomadic life in that terrain, I would put my bet on Drogo.

Where do you people come from? Someone who was formally trained his whole life to be a fucking badass is now equivalent to some random ass savage. By your logic, winning bar fights with rednecks makes me as tough as Anderson Silva lol.

I don't know about you guys, but I don't generally bet on the smaller, weaker, slower, and less skilled combatant. The man died because he picked a fucking wound.... does he sound like someone who's going to know how to fight tactically like Oberyn?

You and everyone else who voted Drogo has to be mentally retarded or just playing off favoritism, it's not even close, it was never close. Drogo is and always will be a bitch compared to the true Westeros warriors.

The Oberyn duel is not at all a basis for comparison. Drogo is not the same type of fighter at all. He is not going to dance around. He is a strength fighter in a world where everyone happens to be faster and lighter. He's still faster than a Westerosi knight, but does not fight the same way as Oberyn. If Drogo was trained to fight with a pike, maybe he'd have a chance. But his arakh is not doing to do anything to the plate armor. He is way too big of a target to be able to dodge cleaves from a huge weapon.

You assume from your experience that it is in relation to a redneck vs a what? UFC fighter?
Best example... Vikings vs English... English well trained, better weapons, upon first encounter [and a few others]... the English lost terribly.
Yes in the end the Vikings were pushed back, but we are talking about Mountain vs Drogo on a first encounter.

Another example... Maoris' vs Red Coats, Maoris' won alot of their battles using sticks, stones and bones vs muskets and canons... and the reason why
the western world uses trench warfare in World Wars... because it was adapted from Maoris.

Other than real history points that prove my point that Drogo would have a fighting chance to win the battle, there have been many UFC encounters
where the best has been beaten by a newcomer.

Every combatant knows the golden rule... "NEVER Underestimate your opponent! Nor get ahead of yourself!" ... and those that do, tend to fail.
Only a retard vouch a significant win when they don't know all the facts.

EDIT: try training with Full plate armor and move down to like Chain, Scale to clothing... you will notice that certain weapons are best suited
for armor as well... like normal clothing swinging a 7ft two handed sword and the difference the extra 15kg chain mail gives you.
Clothed = The sword leads you... Chain Mail = You have control [Same base strength]... and Mountains helm should not have been
removed that easily in the match with Oberyn, his head should have been snapped back because of the ties used.

And it also looks like you know alot about warriors, and wound, and fight in general.
