Debatable indeed, some of the cast in the wire absolutely killed it

Stringer bell, Bubbles, Omar, Lester, Marlo to name a few were incredibly acted! Shit even that little gangster snoop <3

And I absolutely loved true detective myself, just doesn't come close to how good the wire is as a five season collective, at least that's my opinion!

I recently re-watched (the wire), enjoyed it way more second time

Pretty unfair to compare the two imo. Completely different story structures. Plus, the Wire having 5 long, good seasons is tuff to beat. But, for 8 episodes, about a series of murders spanning 2 decades, there wasn't a moment that I wasn't on the edge of my seat.

not comparing anything specific about them!

just saying the Wire is better, for me
