What they're saying is that a major part of the questions you have can be answered by either paying attention to other movies or reading comics or watching other Marvel cartoons that hint/give away answers to stuff in general.

The whole point of Marvel movies is to make blockbuster $ and have everyone turn up the residual $ on their old stuff.

Not really and if we get interested in every other movies then the flaws & the timeline fail without forgetting the plot holes are legion, isn't it Emma? :p

Are you trying to be funny? The new director wants to distance themselves from the original 3. He did his best to bridge the gap to keep the universe the same while distancing themselves from the original 3, which he did quite well given what he had to work with.

Also, it all actually does work with the time travel angle because the start of days of future past is the future that happened because of the other movies. With the time travel thrown in, the previous 3 movies and both wolverine movies would be altered due to events changing. You know the whole butterfly effect phenomenon. (kitty was the one that went back in the comic, which is why she was given the power as a nod to her character in the comic) Trask isn't a continuity error, it's a change in actors. This happens in tv shows and movies all the time.

Also, to better put in perspective the whole magneto manipulating adamantium. In x-men 2, he speaks of stryker being the only other man he knows that can manipulate adamantium. The first person being himself, here's a piece of the comic to explain how he could've done it (which doesn't actually need to be explained because there's a scene in the movie where magneto and wolverine are actually on friendly terms and they board a plane together, making comments about a metallic upgrade)

So yeah, you really have no arguments and are pretty much nitpicking for the sake of argument instead of actually looking at everything.

So you have different tastes and assume everyone should perceive things the way you do?

amazing spider man 2 was great and Days of future past is my all time favorite marvel movie to date.

Don't expect everyone to agree with me no, but it's hard to believe we've seen the same movie

But really?

Why do you even bother posting? You're the one who started bitching about inconsistencies and made up powers. You seem to be a bigger fanboy than the majority of people posting and yet you know shit all about the subject matter. The movie was well done and as always, it's an adaptation, nothing is going to be 100% perfect when making the transition from written text to the screen.

First Class, Days of Future Past, Iron Man, X-2, and Spider-man 2 (Not amazing) > Avengers

Avengers was good but it wasn't even close to great.

I enjoyed First Class more than I did Days of Future Past but both were damn good movies. Lets just hope they have enough common sense to end it before it gets ruined. I know they wrapped it up nicely but that's never stopped assholes from trying to make more money lol.

They're just starting man. The next movie is already announced and it's related to the post-credit scene with Apocalypse.

They're developping a series of movies so that we get all the major interesting events from the Marvel universe on the big screen.

Well, I guess we will see how that one goes. I guess the First Class cast will all be gone, wouldn't make any sense for them to still be around. Apocalypse seems like a difficult task to take on, I'll go see it regardless.

I don't know about just starting man.... all it takes is one bad movie, a reboot will most likely follow but it will still be a different story/timeline. Spider-Man, Batman, X-men, and The Hulk to name some. X-men ofc being the exception for different timelines.

I think they just finally got the recipe down and they're working towards unifying the franchises. I mean why else would they show the scarlett witch at the end of captain america?

As for the cast tho, that's a good question. If they're making a present time x-men with Apocalypse, the current present cast is getting a lil old.
