the main problem with these hypothetical situations is that you dont know how long you'll be there. especially for the first year or two you'll think it's not gonna be very long at all. then after 3-4 years you'll prolly get motivated to use your time wisely. but after 10 years you'll prolly think you'll never leave and lose hope.
on the other hand, if you knew beforehand roughly how long you'll be locked up, then you might do things differently.

I saw the devil was pretty cool too, has the korean oldboy actor as the antagonist in the movie, and the krn actor from GJ JOE movie is the protagonist.
