It is easy to criticise than it is to prove your points right.
How do you know that it could be done in two (2) movies? Do you know the funding? Do you know how much it costs to setup everything? Can you direct actors to play their roles?
Can you identify the creature in writing with an image? (basically you interpretated the writing to be this and that and saw what you visualised)

The movie was decent, it may not be on par with the book, but, the end result it wes good enough.

If I remember correctly... he got approval from the people that matter, and since you aren't one of those, go out there and do better.

Tolkien has been dead for 40 years.... your response literally makes no sense, who the fuck else matters? It's got nothing to do with what I interpreted (learn to spell btw), it's got to do with what actually happened in the book as opposed to the bullshit that just keeps being made up. You obviously haven't read it, so you wouldn't understand how horribly wrong they've done it lol. You could cut the entire river town scene, could have cut 90% of the barrel scene, could have cut out every single scene with orcs/goblins that never happened (all of them besides the misty mountain). Go read it before telling me I'm wrong lol, if I could cut out 50% of the content from both movies and add more that actually happened in the books, I think it would be very possible to trim it down to two 2.5 ~ 3hr movies.

you have proved my point, you read it to not have those scenes, you did not go out of the square to fill in the gaps etc.. your interpretation based on your evaluation on reading the book.

I have the LOTR Set and the Hobbit already.

The people who complain everything was changed clearly have not read the book in a VERY long time, if at all. The movies as stand alone things are 5-6/10 but when you look at them as 3 parts of a whole I am guessing they will be closer to 7-9/10 when the third is done.

I liked the first 3 of Peter Jackson's movies.

I even pointed out that Legolas says things Aragon said in the books, and no one pointed it out and instantly said the movies are worse for it. Peter Jackson embellished, captivated the audiences through certain actors, and delivered the basic premise of each movie.

He did the same in the new ones so far as well.
