Sounds like they are gonna be fighting the Volm now

But with all the trickery going on I wonder if Karen is actually dead

Then they got a fucked up alien baby who can lure the worms out of people so that's kinda cool

Unless the humans start shit with the Volm...I don't see the Volm as enemies. That last scene where Cochise was talking with his father - they showed that they genuinely cared for the humans and their well being. That pretty much proved to me that they are good...but the humans might start shit and then change everything.

I'm watching S3 now and I have a question maybe someone can help me with.

When President Hathaway asked Cochise why they were fighting the war, Cochise's explanation was about the flower he wanted his children's children to see etc. etc. This answer seemed satisfactory to the people in the scene, but I didn't get it at all. What does chasing the Espheni around the universe (as the Volm claim they are doing) have to do with protecting their children? Why are they fighting each other? To me, the answer sounded like a sweet-sounding but empty lie because it never addressed the point of the question. What are the Volm claiming is the connection between themselves and the Espheni? Was the Volm homeworld and every planet they tried to settle after that all attacked?

Did anyone get something more out of Cochise's answer in that scene than I did?

Maybe they follow them to keep them from expanding beyond what they can handle
