Also, even though a laugh track can be used, BBT is filmed in front of a live studio audience.



Giving the show less credibility because of a laugh track is not a valid reason to hate on it as most sitcoms, in fact, I can't name one that doesn't, have laugh tracks.

TBBT was entertaining for a while. The guys getting girlfriends and settling ruined things a bit. Especially because I feel both Bernadette and Amy added nothing to the show. Things were fine with just guest appearances and the 5 man crew of Sheldon/Raj/Howard/Leonard/Penny.

That and the episodes were always really hit and miss. Some were very funny (Adhesive Duck, Big Bran, etc), others were very bad. Plus the humour has gone from Penny being oblivious to nerd/geekisms to the guys being oblivious to everyday social life. Not a good thing imo.

Quite obvious it's not a laugh track. Just a sign that lights up when they want people to laugh.

Not much difference...but if that's peoples biggest issue with t.v. then you really shouldn't watch anything.

My biggest issue is that the shit on that show that I just saw is the farthest thing from funny I've even seen, and knowing that there are people paid to laugh to make the show seem funny. It's just sad...

Every sitcom dating back to who knows when has had laugh tracks or a timer thing set for audiences to laugh
