Not a line but a progression of events. Mainly in fantastic series and movies.


Something pops up like a robot or alien or alien construct. The heroes team up to destroy it and nearly get owned, but they finally manage to get the best of it.

Later or immediately after, a swarm of the same damn thing appears and somehow our heroes are basically one shotting them.

"Hold on!" when they drive through a fence or something.

or he has him at gunpoint but decides to go into fistfight or just go 1vs1 with him while his entire crew watches

horror movie- good person has the killer in a vulnerable position with a weapon.Good guy drops weapon and runs away only to be caught by the killer later on

true lol, the first one is the only real challenge, then hero one shots all the others hahah

This. Or when miraculously all of the protagonist's bullets hit their mark AND are a killing shot while the bad guys empty mags into thin air.
Also when anyone in any sort of horror movie doesn't act like Sigourney did in Alien (meaning they're a little bitch and hide and hope it goes away instead of being a badass and getting your lazy terrified ass to safety) and still lives.

was gonna say this.

Could still say "I" because I can almost guarantee that's more common than "the" in tv shows.
