what makes you think the show is doing poorly? It's getting a second season too lol

Comcast had it OnDemand for a while (they still might). It included all the up-to-date episodes save for episode one... that was the one episode they didn't supply. That worried me a little bit, because that should be the episode that hooks me into the series.

Anyways, I tried watching from episode 2 on and it definitely feels off (specifically character interactions...the mother and older son).

Big fan of the show. Anyone else feel like Norman will eventually get it in with his hot teacher?

In regard to your original description of the series, I hate that the clothing and buildings are really true to classic Psycho yet they implemented all the new technology.
