Interesting take that. Kind of feels like you may be right on that... and i see that in so many series and movies ... the actors seems like they're doing their best, but they're not like coherent, it's not a coherent process. They're doing a job and not coming together. Perhaps that is because the directors and leadership aren't genuinely interested in making something great ... just something that will catch many enough fans for it to be profitable, with special effects and unnecessary and pointless drama. Can definitely see that point.
