The Interview (1998) - A rare 90s gem that I somehow managed to overlook until earlier tonight. Weaving's absolutely brilliant performance is paired perfectly with Tony Martin's vastly different, but almost as good been around the block cop routine. While it has an eerily similar style and score to The Usual Suspects, enough was done differently and the performances were strong enough to carry the movie on it's own merit without feeling like an imitation. Would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a good dialogue driven thriller.

It was okay but not nearly as good as the first one. Kids are just better protagonists for that story and the writing took a real nose dive. I swear every scene for the last hour of the movie had me rolling my eyes at how cheesy it was. I know it’s not the movies fault that the source material is wack but it still doesn’t make it any better to watch. 6/10

Nothing special but still an entertaining movie to watch. Good choice if you don’t want to pay a ton of attention
