Mediocre at best, and that's because today's standards are low, but it's not like I was expecting anything better. It's really just another stale reboot of a franchise. Boring and stereotypical characters, simple and predicatable plot development, unnecessarily long run time... but hey we got some nice CGI! (or not so much, because even if the action effects were neat, the dinosaurs looked terribly artificial)
At least it's better than Jurassic Park 3, but that's not saying much. If they were going to try to redeem the franchise after that garbage movie, this was not the way to go.
Even though I enjoyed the first two movies of the franchise, I never bothered with this one because I was expecting it to be a waste of time. Since the new JP movie came out recently, I suddenly remembered I hadn't watched this yet, so I gave it a shot... and it really was just a waste of time. I don't hate this movie, it just didn't do anything for me. Completely irrelevant movie.
