Or it could've been that the baby died before delivery giving it the opportunity to zombify while leaving the possibility of having children still open. But I guess it's nice to see that life is still possible and this new baby will probably give everyone a glimmer of hope.

Also, I think Daryl is too attached to Carol and maybe even the rest of the group to leave.

Not necessarily. Seeing as how everyone already has the virus in them maybe have some babies born immune completely and some born infected. That would be interesting imo.
