The amount of emojis in this thread is making me nauseous.

Haha well yeah but I meant for episode 9.
I also heard that Rian Johnson is at the helm of a new Star Wars trilogy too.
This is the only movie he's done that I've been unimpressed with. I know you thought it was pretty damn good, but I think if he was given the ability to mold a story from the beginning, rather than trying to follow-up on someone else's image, he could make something truly amazing. The man's body of work speaks for itself, limited though it may be, he's INSANELY talented imo, and Brick + Looper are just fucking phenomenal films. I had forgotten that he did a couple of the best Breaking Bad episodes as well, the guy really is a fucking boss. If he writes/directs all three movies in the trilogy, the hype for me will be back. I'm pretty much over this one, and my expectations for the finale are about as low as possible. I'll watch it of course, but I'm not expecting too much.
To weigh in on the Luke v whoever thing, I thought the same thing. Luke should have been able to destroy any of these prissy little bitches. Snoke might have been able to wreck him 1v1, but it doesn't make much sense for one person with no real training, and one person with unfinished training who lost to the untrained scrub, to be stronger than a man dubbed as the "strongest jedi". It's w/e though, still not something that bothered me all that much. It's clear they're just trying to clear the way for the new generation of jedi/sith, and they want the old way to die. When you take into consideration everything that was going on, as defeated as Luke was, as cut off from the force, blah blah, it's plausible he could lose in a situation where he felt nothing but guilt, which could weigh him down, vs Rey who was feeling pure rage atm, which would make her stronger. Once again, not something that bothered me all that much, but still another eye roll moment from me.

The part about the sith and their supposed lack of emotion made me laugh.
It seems a lot of people hate it for some really weird reasons.
Some people are just delusional.
