It points out that Wells is definately Reverse Flash, he wanted the Tackeon [sp] thing for himself. How did he appear in 2 places at once? Who knows.
How did Reverse Flash make the shield weak, simply because Dr Wells made it that way, one simple little flaw in design.

Or basically like someone stated earlier, Dr Wells is T.O. Morrow and helping out RF, misleading everyone by taking a beating and still steal that Tackeon thingy..

Note: When the Flash runs around, he shows "Yellow" lightning, not Red, but when RF runs around, his lightning is Red, so, in the Blurs... the Yellow blur is Flash and the Red Blur is RF or Zoom, who knows right.

its just different timelines, or even a different story all together, seeing as how eddie thawne or dr zoom is "supposed to be reverse flash" we will see how it pans out, as for the red and yellow streak its barry allen against reverse flash. Barry allen uses the treadmill in star labs to time travel

Damn that reveal made me giddy.

Glad they confirmed what I said earlier about the flash and reverse flash being the red and yellow lightning around the mother.

Also, Mark Hamil is reprising his role as the trickster from the 90's flash.
And I wonder if anyone noticed that barry's father is the original flash from the 90's tv show.:p

It was very telling when the reverse flash hesitated on eddie but went to town on wells.

and i think rf didnt beat eddie up because he didn't want to ruin the relation between iris and eddie. (could be just to get back at barry or not instigating eddie to spend too much dedicated time being a detective)

Theory is that he's the other reverse flash. There are two. One that gets the power from the speed force like barry and the other that gets the power from the suit (like we saw)

I'm a little confused about Eddie's part in all this, could someone clarify a bit?

Eobard Thawne is one of the villains to take the name reverse flash. Eobard is a 25th century variation of Edward. Eddie, edward. When you saw the man in yellow come up to eddie, he hesitated. Eddie's last name is Thawne. The premise of eddie's character is that he has a shrouded history and a dark secret.

From what I read, the producers are drawing on many different variations of the source material.
