Trainspotting 2 (2017)

Not as good as the first one, but it is still pretty decent and has a few fun and nostalgic moments. It's for the fans of the first one rather than the general public imo... so long as the fans don't expect something great out of this sequel. It's more of a tribute than a movie; nothing memorable, just fun and nostalgic.

Imo the first one is a classic, second is decent and the third is a turd.

Agree with 1st and 2nd statement. I thought the second one was nearly as good as the first. First is still the best for sure, but the second one wasn't bad and it was a cool concept seeing a martial artist fighting a straight boxer.

Maurice (1987)

Was surprised when I first found out about this film (from googling and imdbing) and immediately got this film to watch. It was based off a book written by Forster, who first wrote it in 1914 but it didn't get published until 1971, a year after his death. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, but you'd have to be very open minded if you'd enjoy it, too. The movie even has a famous actor - Hugh Grant - another surprise considering I've never heard of this film until a couple days ago.
