idk i just like it because one of the main characters rick is just really funny to me. super sarcastic and just wants everyone to gtfo from him, except his grand children.

For me, aside from the humour in general it's the sheer scope of the universe. It's pure brain spew, done extremely well - like a stoners trip that gets edited like a boss? idk

Some of the ideas they explore in each episode are pretty unique. They also make fun of a lot of things in a fairly extreme manor.

It's also just good humor / joke telling.

both r great but i wouldnt say south park beats RnM dramatically... for me rick n morty is slightly behind sp but they r both doing the same thing in their own way r they r both doing it good

I prefer Rick and Morty quite a bit of South Park

At least it's only a one week break.

Either you get it or you don't, that's how taste works. I was hooked after watching one episode and this is easily my favorite comedy of all time. Archer is second and South Park is a distant third. All three are enjoyable but the type of humor in R&M just speaks to me on a different level.

I heard South park has gotten better again but holy is that one of the least consistent shows that I've ever watched. Up and down, up and down. I haven't watched it for like 4 years because it got so bad at one point.

Funny, I personally believe the show quality skyrocketed in the last 3-4 years.
Probably stopped watching at the worst time.
