no, you didn't get my point either... In real life there aren't gays everywhere i go and i live in one of the most tolerant countries in the world regarding such issues. My point is that this virtue signalling of inclusiveness has gone overboard and now i can't watch anything without getting gays shoved into my face. I don't mind gay people, i generally don't mind that there are a representative amount of series in which there are gays or even when they entirely revolve around it. I don't care, but it used to be something i could avoid and still have my entertainment. Now it's everywhere shoved in due to this virtue signalling. Again i don't mind it in general but it has become unavoidable and overrepresentative and you try to shame me for pointing this out. Congratulations, another one that doesn't get it.
Being gay is not normal. The normal sexual dynamic is by far heterosexual, sorry to burst your bubble, but gay people aren't the majority and they aren't the norm. They are closer to the exception. In the vast majority of western countries, gays are accepted and have the same legal standards applied to them. Now we look at cultural expression, where they are overrepresented due to past intolerance. The vast majority of people where i'm from doesn't give a fuck about someone's sexuality, unless you keep shoving it in their faces. Then they get annoyed and try to avoid that which has become nearly impossible with the series produced today... which is exactly why i wrote what i wrote. You also tried to shame me for some perceived intolerance towards gay people without knowing where i'm coming from with this. Good job! I guess in today progressive (regressive) pc culture it is not allowed to utter criticism when it involves a group that is falsely perceived as marginalized.
Imagine how gay people feel having heterosexuals shoved in their faces all the time.
Having a gay character in a major city in California is something I'm not at all surprised over. San Francisco has a huge gay community.
You sound triggered.
