Well there was no way Red Wedding could live up to my expectations but overall I'd say it was done as well as it could have been. Definitely sad they couldn't show the thing with Greywind's head, but that's probably over the line for HBO.

As the for the rest of the episode, it was nice to have something relevant happen in Bran's story for once.

There isn't much else you could ask for since we don't get Catelyn's POV of dread throughout the scene. I wish Grey Wind had killed several freys and done some more howling but everything else was pretty epic. I'm sure non readers were left with the same feeling of emptiness, sadness, and wtf as readers were.

This was literally the most depressing thing I've seen in any TV Show or Movie

Non reader here and yes I am left wondering if I want to continue even watching this show. George Martin is a sick fucking weirdo.

So, how many people think that Talisa was planted by the Lannisters to make Robb break his vows? "Roose Change" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsTVnZm9hFg) had some decent evidence in it.

I'm surprised about what happened to Talisa. I thought she was going to be sent off to marry Ramsay (taking the place of the "Arya" storyline). That would have made sense since she could have provided a genetic Stark heir for Warden of the North (more easily for Northerners to accept him as leader), but someone that would be raised and totally under control of the Lannister/Bolton gang.

The most important thing to come out of all of it, of course, is the tragic fact we don't get to see Oona Chaplin naked anymore.

It's always darkest just before the dawn. There is another wedding in Book 3 as well, although we probably won't see it until the beginning of Season 4.

That's how I felt when I read the chapter. I had to reread the scene bc I didn't believe what I had read. Then I had to put the book down to take it all in. As much as I dislike the Stark's being shit on 24/7, it's an interesting, nice change of pace to see such a sad and devious story play out.

When I saw that video I'll admit I was kind of convinced she was a spy. And I wouldn't put it past the Lannister's to butcher her at the wedding even though she loyally spied for them. But I'm not convinced she was a spy anymore. She was just another victim of the Bolton/Frey/Lannister orchestrated red wedding imo.

I really hope the Frey's have an ironic end ie they played the Rains of Castamere for the Red Wedding but hopefully they are the ones who are wiped out of existence. Same goes for the Lannister's. I don't want all of them to die (Jaime and Tyrion are alright imo), but I hope the Lannister's lose all the land, gold, and power behind there name when the series comes to an end.

lol @ this comment on the youtube of Rains of Castamere

I hope they show at least a little of the Greywind thing at the beginning of the next episode.
