Interesting movie about life in rural Nepal. Beautiful imagery of the landscapes.

Starbuck - Heartwarming gem of a film
Pack Up Your Troubles - Not so great
Little Lord Fauntleroy - Realy liked it, going to watch it in future xmas seasons.
Saps at Sea - Entertaining, good lenght and some fun parts
Happy People: A Year in the Taiga - Incredible, pretty neutral but my eyes were glued to the screen.
Über uns das All - nothing realy special/outstanding about it. typical relationship drama.

Its enjoyable if you're a fan of the games but otherwise an average movie imo

The Jungle Book (2016)

Pointless remake of the cartoon movie. It adds nothing to the original... it's the same characters, same songs and 99% of the same story. It didn't feel fresh at all. It's also a step down from the original imo... they took away dialogue and some fun bits to replace them with action... that's the only noticeable change, other than the use of cgi and a human actor ofc. Over all it's not terrible, just a pointless remake that doesn't live up to the original.

Rogue One (2016)

Decent Star Wars movie. Perhaps the best since the original trilogy, although it's not great in any case. The movie is imo too long for the little amount of story that is told, and the dialogues are kind of poor. The romantic/emotional side of the story is kind of pointless and not well delivered imo. On the other hand there's an entertaining dose of action, and it's somewhat refreshing to see the franchise expand beyond the main storyline. The ending is also very cool from a Star Wars fan's perspective.

Personally I'd like to see more Star Wars movies like this one... focused on expanding the SW universe, and not just the main story line until we reach Episode 100. Surely they can do better than this, but the spinoff direction seems promising, and I would say that Rogue One is a new hope.
