Dope - Fantastic, loved it. Nice style and very well made, it just felt "fresh" to me.
Umrika - pretty decent, although nothing outstanding worth mentioning
The Flintstones (Life Action Movie) - pretty good, awesome set design
Angst - some good parts but way too long and boring
Aviator - I liked it, the cgi planes realy bothered me, with such a high budget they should have used real props and miniatures
Roger Rabbit - pretty well made and good physical comedy, in my opinion better than Space Jam

Dressed To Kill (1980)

Solid thriller by Brian De Palma. While not a truly memorable movie, it does a very good job at creating suspense and keeping the viewer at the edge of his seat. The soundtrack is great and some scenes are very well filmed... it had a Hitchcock feel to it.

The cons? Well, the acting isn't great (not terrible either, just mediocre) and the film's quality is inconsistent (some brilliant suspense scenes followed by average and dull scenes later). The last 15 minutes are unnecessary too, but that's just imo. But over all, it's a good suspense thriller that's worth checking out if you enjoy the genre.

As a Giallo-nut I consider that film a masterpiece. Probably my favorite American contribution to the genre along with Still of the Night

Halloween (1978)

So I finally got around watching this classic horror. In general I'm not a big fan of this kind of slasher movies, but this one is pretty good. It didn't feel all that fresh to me because countless movies have copied many elements of this movie, but from a historical perspective this film was groundbreaking and very original, so that deserves extra credit. It was apparently also filmed in the span of 3 days, which is amazing. And the opening scene is fantastic. Over all it's good stuff but, assuming most people have already seen several slashers, I'd mostly just recommend watching it for its historical relevance since all the innovative elements of the movie have been used time and time again in other movies and will not feel fresh.

I rewatched Three Colors: Blue!

Everytime I watch this I end up feeling dissapointed at how bad everything else is in comparison.

:D

Do you prefer it over Red though?

I think that all 3 of them are so good picking any of them as favorite is reasonable, but Red seems to be most people's favourite.
