Popularity doesn't mean that much because popularity shows quality of the past, not of the present or future. Season 2 was not quality. It was uneventful, boring and meaningless, imo. The Walking Dead was popular because season 1 was a hit and millions of viewers were going to watch anyway. At least the latter half of season two picked up a bit.

At least I have a team that I can proudly claim to have been a loyal fan of my whole life. What happens when LeBron gets injured? Do you just sort of stop watching basketball?
