You said it. I think it's one of Kubrick's very very best, super underrated... and the final scene always brings tears to me eyes.

Edit for clarity: not so much that it's underrated by itself, it just gets overshadowed by his more popular films like A Clockwork Orange that are so very different in style and tone and everything.

Probably the turning point for Kubrick, Killers Kiss and The Killing feel a bit more amateurish but Paths of Glory is just great in every aspect.

I feel you, the last sequenz is just horrifying.

Rewatched "Once Upon a time in the West" - still an awesome movie, but in comparison I would prefer the Dollar Trilogy.

Broken Blossoms (1919)

Very solid silent movie, I enjoyed it. The love-drama story is pretty simple and shallow (as with most movies back then), but it still delivers and I also appreciate it's bravery for defending interracial relationships in the early 20th century when it was a huge taboo.

Drive (2011)

I really liked this one. Great soundtrack, great visuals... really felt like something different and intriguing. I loved Gosling's "non-acting", it creates such a soulless character that fits the theme perfectly. I feel like the film's tempo, the excellent music, the cinematography and the character's/dialogue mix very well and create a great atmosphere. Perhaps the shallow story waters it down a bit, but other than that it's among the recent movies I've enjoyed the most.

Such a great one, showed them to my friends and they were completely bored ^^
If you liked the soundtrack you should check out Kavinsky's album Outrun

Sword of a Stranger - meh, didn't connect with the characters, some nice fightscenese but totally forgetable.
