I watched Easy Rider, great road movie with excellent photo and very nice American 60's music. It caputes the vibe of the 68-left movement and the hippie-movement. I found it a bit too drug-liberal for my taste but I enjoyed it anyway

:D gonna have to check this out.

But only if you like cheesy b-movie trash ^^
Thought it was hilarious :D

Bringing Up Baby (1938)

It had been a long time since I literally lol'd while watching a movie. It's silly and simple, but it has some great comedy. It has to be one of the most enjoyable romcoms I've ever watched as well, although Charade (also starring Cary Grant btw) is still my favourite.

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, just like Toxic Avenger over the top B-Movie action, I loved it.
The Wizard of Oz (1939), realy charming movie, although I despise musicals I liked the songs, they were pretty catchy.

I have to admit that I used to see Cary Grant as a bit of a douche and a guy who just made a living out of his handsomeness, but after watching more of his movies I've realized he has some great performances. I really liked him in this one, at times I felt like I was watching some kind of talking Harold Lloyd :D

Ingrid Bergman said the exact same thing about Cary Grant before meeting him. She expected him to be a douchebag / diva but he turned out to be a very humble dude and they ended up good friends.

It's probably because he starred in all those films where he'd just smile, say a few words with confidence, and melt the co-starring female character. It makes people feel like that's just the way he is, some cocky douchebag that just smiles... but after seeing him portray other types of characters and also seeing him star in better films (much of his filmography consists of mediocre movies where they just milk his name for money), I now consider him as one of the best actors of his generation.
