winters bone - meh, didn't hook me
this is england - great movie, loved it.

I really liked Winter's Bone but it's been a while since I saw it so maybe it's bad, idk. Jennifer Lawrence was good though, I know that much!

She is incredible, I think that she is one of the best female actors working today.
The movie has good atmosphere and they nailed the outback/redneck setting but something just didn't click.

Objectively I would say it's a good movie, subjectively not.

I feel you dude, taste is the most important factor after all.
I felt like Son of Saul was pretty much perfectly executed but WW2 stuff doesn't fly with me so 3 / 5 is the best I can do. Can't disregard taste.

The Invitation on Netflix (last night)

Pretty slow movie but I enjoyed it but the ending wasn't good at all

For realz lol, actually i guess the best female actor is just the fittest one so sure

Have you seen hunger games/x-men? I don't normally notice bad acting because i think its just how the character is but did here!

I don't care for this superhero/dystopien teenage stuff and no one cares about acting in these movies.
I think she was great in Joy, Serena, American Hustle, Silver Linings and Winter's Bone.

Same goes for Scarelett Johansson, dont like her Marvel stuff either, she's only on the screen for her titts and her ass.
But I love her in Lost in Translation, Under The Skin, Her, Prestige and Hail, Caesar!
