Pickpocket (1959)
A good film with a rather implausible ending drenched in corn, and several isolated scenes which simply do not cohere.

The confrontation between Michel and the police inspector re: Nietzschean "Supermen" is too far removed from reality. The rather abrupt change of character that Michel has at the ending when the development between those two characters would suggest Michel is incapable of that sort of intimacy. It's forced and contrived.

5 Fingers (1952)

Wouldn't rate it as one of Mankiewicz's best movies, but it's pretty good. It entertains, the dialogues work well and there's a decent deal of intrigue and tension.

Edge of Tomorrow with a bunch of freinds. Seen it 3 times already but it's always a blast. Highly enjoyable to watch.
