Oslo, 31. august

Norweigan film, extremely similar to Malle's The Fire Within but has a lot of merit even if this type of film has been done before.

Been wanting to watch this one; will do so soon.

The Wages of Fear (1953)
Henri-Georges Clouzot: The Master of Suspense? I think so. Move over Hitchcock.
Not only a great thriller, but a great film that goes deeper than anything Hitchcock made.

Die Nibelungen (Part 1 & II) (1924)

Fascinating, amazing and ahead of its time. I like Fritz Lang and I had already enjoyed Metropolis, but this still managed to surprise me. Great story, visuals and pace (dispite the whole thing being 5 hours long).

It has easily made it among my favourite silent movies.

Prince Avalanche (2013)
Tackles familiar themes that many other films have done much better. The script if rife with cliches, and, as a result, it is utterly predictable.
