I've been rewatching Park Chan-Wook's vengeance trilogy, after many years.

Still great stuff... I wonder though if I'm the only one that actually likes Sympathy For Lady Vengeance best :ph4r:

Probably, the first one is leagues above the other two in my opinion of course : )

Bout to rewatch Triple 9 (2016)

Just saw it for the first time today. 10/10 acting and story

Oldboy has better writing but the cinematography in Lady Vengeance is awesome. Lady Vengeance is more interesting to me.
Haven't seen the third film yet though.

Personally I enjoy all 3 of them more or less equally, but in different ways, and overall I just prefer the third one by a small margin.



The third one is Lady Vengeance. The first one would be Mr and the 2nd one Oldboy. You should check out the first one then

I think it's the bizarre humour in the third one which I find works better than in the other 2. Also, I really like the main character... not just the way she is, but the way she's portrayed so that she acts most mercilessly/coldblooded when she seems kindest, and she acts more emotional and human when her facade is coldest (in the last half hour of the movie).

Would Rank it as my least favorite in the Triolgy, still great though.

For me it is

1.Oldboy
2. Mr. Vengeance
3. Mrs. Vengeance

Been a while since I've seen Mr/Mrs. Vengeance, need to pop in the bluray again.
