Soy Cuba (aka Ya Kuba) (1964)
USSR propaganda movie about the Cuban Revolution, and how americans, Batista and rich landlords bullied the people of Cuba. I normaly don't like propaganda films, unless they have a technical or historical/cultural value that makes it interesting, or a good story... this was certainly the case.
The movie is fantastic from a technical point of view, it's hard to believe this was filmed over 50 years ago. Great camera work, imagery, music... I really enjoyed this one. The downside is that it's a bit too long for it's tempo (it's slow, and 2.5 hours of this can make some parts feel less interesting).
