blah wtf has happened to your brain cells recently?

E/

kinda wanted more closure on the trial and the consequences - i assume they've confirmed a second season then or?

They confirmed a second season. Said it would focus on how the characters are dealing with everything and would have another old technology play a part. The tapes are done but some other technology is going to pop up and be the focus. Whatever that means.

e: I could be wrong but I think the book ends basically where the show does, so everything going forward will be new..?

tbh i didn't even know it was based on a book series.. so was the show written with the intention of a second season?

I don't see how they'd be able to put out a whole new series focused solely on tying up those loose ends. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Think it is just a single book.

good or bad show?

I gave an indepth opinion on it on page 9, but basically:

It's entertaining, with good acting and some powerful scenes.

Really stupid dialogues, situations and characters, with lots of plot inconsistencies.

Over all, meh. Could have been much better with better script writers. If you're emotionally unstable and suicidal, don't watch, because the message is fucked up.

Yeah but your opinion write up was juvenile and without empathy, so no one should take it seriously.

According to your "hurr-durr anyone who doesn't like this is a messed up human being" delusional fanboy view, then I guess it is.

If you like the show that's fine, just like it is that I didn't like it. I gave plenty of reasons that weren't related to emotional/empathetic aspects to criticize the show.

I'm not saying my opinion is better than everyone else's, but you're basically saying that the vast majority of the psychologist's community as well as of the thousand's of people who disliked the show are soulless robots.

Yes, soulless robots.

A couple dozen articles doesn't equate the "vast majority."

Thousands of people don't like every show, who cares.

The show depicts real situations that are a problem TODAY. It's not meant to be a band-aide. It's not meant to fix the problem. It's meant to create awareness, and with all the press it has received, it very much succeeded.

Except it isn't, that is the problem. It ignores real problems to focus on sensationalized bullshit. Stop trying to say it is about bullying--its not

.........it is.........

It's not going to magically solve suicide. The show isn't about how to seek help if you're suicidal. It never was that, and it's not trying to be that. The show is meant to show how bullying can harm someone, which in some cases, can lead to suicide. It's meant to show ignorance of an authoritative person who looks the other way when someone is obviously hurting.

Suicide, in this case, is the result of bullying. The show is about bullying. The result is suicide.

Stop bullying, you stop suicide from bullying.

This is so obvious and I don't understand why you guys can't grasp this show.

Mental illness is a different topic, and isn't relevant to this show.

One thing I may agree on, this show may not be for people who are suicidal, it's meant for us assholes who aren't.
