If the Umbers hand over Rickon, while the Karstarks are in bed with the Boltons, then the whole "The North Remembers" is garbage. What useless bannermen for the Starks. The only ones who seem to be holding out are the folks on Bear Island who told Stannis to shove it because his name wasn't Stark. If the North doesn't rally around Jon Stark, then he should give them all the ol' Janos Slynt treatment.

A bastard won't be recognized as a true Stark, that's just not how it works. All of the true Starks are dead or presumed dead. John's true parents will be reveled soon and then the north will be forced to rally around the son of Lyanna Stark.

Ya I don''t mean next episode, but eventually. Roose and Little Finger keep repeating that a Stark is needed in Winterfell, but from how all these flaky northern houses are flocking to the Boltons... doesn't really seem that important thus far. At least Jon has an army of wildlings, which is totally unexpected by anyone outside of castle black.
