And I said it is annoying when it is shoehorned in randomly for absolutely no reason and extremely focused on. Like oh look a gay couple keys make their losing scene last for 8 minutes even though straight scenes last 16 seconds because we have to show we are inclusive! That's annoying, but that isn't the case for this show so why you brought it up makes no sense...

because it's lazy writing, just like the stereotypical shoved in black dude... that always ends up being one of the first kills if it's horror/action/thriller with fatalities. It is catering to groups of ideologues that overwhelmingly aren't part of the fanbase of whatever genre they try to pollute with their shit... But hey, you're probably one of those guys that doesn't mind lazy writing, likes the trailer of the new ghostbuster movie because it's more inclusive than ever! Oh wait, that was my point, they're doing it everywhere, which again was the point you are missing completely.

Your point is:

"my point was that this particular gay relation in yet another series is irrelevant."

Why is it irrelevant? There are gay people in the real world...so all the gays should be dead in the tv world?

Baffling that someone can have the "zomg it's a gaaaay" view in a civilized country in 2016.

Being gay is normal, tv shows/movies writters are trying to spread the message. But there is always people bitching about it. kind of sad.

no, you didn't get my point either... In real life there aren't gays everywhere i go and i live in one of the most tolerant countries in the world regarding such issues. My point is that this virtue signalling of inclusiveness has gone overboard and now i can't watch anything without getting gays shoved into my face. I don't mind gay people, i generally don't mind that there are a representative amount of series in which there are gays or even when they entirely revolve around it. I don't care, but it used to be something i could avoid and still have my entertainment. Now it's everywhere shoved in due to this virtue signalling. Again i don't mind it in general but it has become unavoidable and overrepresentative and you try to shame me for pointing this out. Congratulations, another one that doesn't get it.

Being gay is not normal. The normal sexual dynamic is by far heterosexual, sorry to burst your bubble, but gay people aren't the majority and they aren't the norm. They are closer to the exception. In the vast majority of western countries, gays are accepted and have the same legal standards applied to them. Now we look at cultural expression, where they are overrepresented due to past intolerance. The vast majority of people where i'm from doesn't give a fuck about someone's sexuality, unless you keep shoving it in their faces. Then they get annoyed and try to avoid that which has become nearly impossible with the series produced today... which is exactly why i wrote what i wrote. You also tried to shame me for some perceived intolerance towards gay people without knowing where i'm coming from with this. Good job! I guess in today progressive (regressive) pc culture it is not allowed to utter criticism when it involves a group that is falsely perceived as marginalized.
