Sadly this is the case.

Lennie James is a good actor. He was good in Jericho and has been in a lot of good movies. Snatch off the top of my head.

If they are following the overal story of the graphic novel, I'm betting they will be back. There is a preview shown on AMC of Rick speaking into the talkie. Good chance they will be in contact sometime.

Last episode was well done. Andrew Lincoln did a great job of nailing Rick Grimes' character when he followed the grandmother and discussed the situation with their leader. Seems like Shane is going to be more permanent than I thought. Also happy that Carol's husband is done.
