Yeah I don't think it has to do with being a hipster

I've found there's two kinds of people when it comes to moves roughly speaking
Some people only enjoy movies with good acting and a well thought out script. They tend towards dramas and more serious movies
They tend to be darker more cynical people

Other people just want to be entertained, often good visuals, music, jokes, settings can make up for a lack on certain things the other type can't go without. They're more likely to enjoy action, comedy, sci fi/fantasy movies
They tend to be lighter and more positive

Ah this was the last movie I watched :) 6.7 i enjoyed it a lot but it could have been legendary with the concept
Also what happened to the giant Pacman gobbling up cities from the poster?

The Last Run - 1971 George C Scott

A former getaway driver from Chicago (George C. Scott) has retired to a peaceful life in a Portuguese fishing village. He is asked to pull off one last job, involving driving a dangerous crook and his girl-friend to France. However, the job turns out to be a double-cross and the trio are pursued back to Portugal where they make one last stand on the coast while the enemy assassins attempt to gun them down.

plz... you prolly expected pixels was gonna be on par with fucking shawshank redemption it was a light hearted movie about arcade games attacking earth... if the only reason you hate it is bc sandler hasnt had a "good hit" in 10 plus years... pfft

Last time I checked - film is still light shone through a 2 dimension film, so Pixels is correct. Also anything Adam did was better than Deep Impact.

Except the movie isn't 2d it is 3d, you are just viewing in on a 2d medium, pixels is wrong. Don't try to be a smart ass, you just show your stupidity.

Also deep impact was a perfectly reasonable film.

Sunshine - 9/10
One of my favourite time killer movies. Goes a bit silly at the end but still enjoyable.

I watched the Swedish AA submission for 2015, A Pigeon sat on a branch reflecting on existence.

Turns out it's a piece of shit, no Award for us :lol:
