pretty cool French romantic fantasy film from the 40's

Well acted and beatifully shot, also quite pleasureable pacing. Comes recommended if you're interested in the period.

It is great indeed.

I thought cold In July was fairly decent too, didn't expect that turn of events following the first few scenes

It was ok I think, my grading scale is pretty balanced so 5 / 10 is not a disasterrating coming from me.

I thought last 30 min or so of Cold in July was pretty intense but everything leading up to that point was kinda slow, The Police corruption plot didn't really go anywhere.
