The girl who played with fire.

I accidently got the extended edition which took the movie from 129 minutes to 180.

holy mother of fuck... It was definitely still a 6/10 but the movie went on foreeeeever with extra un-needed scenes that i'm sure were cut out of the standard edition.

I noticed a significant quality drop as far as camera work, secondary acting and the fight scenes were laughable

I still enjoyed Lisbeth and Michaels acting since they used the same quality actors from the first movie

Everything else about it seemed like a modern TV crime drama, only with better character development. Oh and the plot just seemed... Far fetched to me, at least they didn't leave plotboles all over the place

yeah, it's been awhile sine I saw it but I remember it as a fair bit worse than the first film

the inital plan was to release the first film in theatre and then show 2 or 3 on TV and when the massive success of the first film was a fact the second and third where already shot, on pretty tight budgets

unfortunate.

Days of Heaven

Technically a flawless film, absolutely crazy well shot and very innovative as far as cinematography goes. Malick has an expression that i've never quite seen before however it's lacking a bit in the story department in my opinion, dosen't really hit me in the gut so will have to settle for a very strong 8 / 10

Thanks Ziggy for the rec, for sure worth a watch.
