Fair enough, you're right that its impossible to have a truly objective rating. But I do have a system that I use to at least TRY and separate myself from the rating.
the objective rating simply is my rating based off of 4 criteria
#1 Character development
#2 Plot complexity, originality and soundness (Is it full of plot holes, is it your typical Romcom formula ect)
#3 Authenticity of era and region if applicable. This applies almost exclusively to movies set in the past.
#4 Actual acting of the actors which is indeed extremely subjective so I look more for acting technique and appropriateness of emotion to the scene.
I'm just trying to deliver a rating with significantly less bias from my own personal emotions or experiences.
